Being spiritual ≠ being positive

Being spiritual is not the same as being positive

Being spiritual means understanding the reality that we are infinite and eternal spirit that temporarily lives the human experience.

And that human experience includes so many opposing dimensions: positive and negative, birth and death, happiness and sadness, success and failure, giving and receiving, light and darkness, body and spirit, humanity and divinity.

Instead of trying so hard to be positive (to embrace only one dimension and reject its opposite) spirituality is more about moving toward wholeness; to be aware, to acknowledge and to embrace all dimensions of living as human beings.

Living a spiritual life is understanding that everything serves a purpose; making peace with both the positive and the negative; the good and the bad; the beauty and the ugly.
It is knowing that everything in life is connected.
Duality is simply an illusion.

To live a spiritual life means to acknowledge the entirety of our Being.
It means that we learn to accept and welcome all dimensions of life without resistance.
It is the understanding that there is always good inside the bad, and there is always bad inside the good.
The moment we are willing to accept that, we stop fighting with life; we make peace with reality.
We synchronize ourselves with this wave of change called Life.
