Very often, life gives us a mission through our pain.
Some people want to empower others because they have experienced the tremendous pain of being disempowered.
Some people have a wonderful spirit to support other people's dreams because they know how much it sucked not having their own dreams supported by people around them.
Some people have the ability to shine a light because they know how scary it was to live in the dark.
Some people work really hard to help others believe in themselves because they have already experienced the disgusting feeling of having no self-belief at all.
Pain is a great teacher.
Our brokenness often inspires us to walk the path to find our wholeness.
Pain introduces us to empathy.
We then realize that pain is a universal human experience.
Everybody experiences pain. Some deeper than others. But everyone has been hurt in one form or another.
Knowing this, we can choose to become more compassionate toward other human beings.
We realize that we are walking together in this journey of healing, awakening, and enlightenment.
Each and every one of us is seeking wholeness, in our own unique way.
We can either walk individually, hiding our pain. Or we can walk together, helping each other heal.
To help others heal means to love.
It is very difficult to heal alone.
We all need each other.
We need someone who can listen to our stories without judgment.
We need someone to simply be there without saying anything when times are difficult.
We need someone to look us in the eyes and tell us everything will be okay.
Be a friend. Be a supporter. Be a teacher.
Don't let your pain harden your heart.
Ask yourself, " How can I turn my pain into blessings for me and for people around me?"
Pain carries within it a seed of life purpose.
If you're in pain right now, reach out. Don't be discouraged if at first some people, especially family members, can't give you what you need.
Move on. Reach out to other people.
There are people out there who can help you heal.
Your emotional well-being matters. There are people out there who are willing to listen to you. There are people out there who can understand you.
Don't be ashamed of your pain. You're only making it worse for yourself. Find someone you can trust and allow yourself to speak your truth. Express your feeling, whether you feel depressed, or angry, or ashamed, or lonely. Share your stories. Letting it out is an important first step of healing. Be patient with yourself. You've been living with pain for years. Healing will take time.
Love and Blessings,
Affandi
